TRAIN SERVICES
As announced on Saturday, the restoration of train services to the timetable in force prior to the cut will take place on 29th September. Mr. Massey hopes to do more than this in the near future, by restoring suburban and other trains which were, running before the war reauction was made. Most of the men who went away on active service have now returned, and if the.coal position were assured by a steady output from New Zealand mines it would not be' long before a full service could1 be given.
