AVIATION POLICY
AND NAVAL DEFENCE.
. Tt will be a little while yet before Colonel Bettington's report on aviation in New Zealand will be ready for publication. The matter may not be considered by Cabinet till it is seen what Admiral Lord'Jellicoe has to say on the air-service in relation to naval defence. Lord Jellicoe's report will probably come to hand before the Admiral leaves Auckland, and' some portions of it may be presented to Parliament before the session ends. Of course, there will be confidential portions of the report which cannot be made public.
