■AUCKLAND,. 17th June,
At a special meeting of the New Zealand Insurance Company to-day, it was decided to alter tho articles of association by the insertion of clauses that read as follow : i
28A.—The company may (a) divide its capital or any part thereof by the subdivision of its oxisting shares, or any of them, into shares of a smaller amount than is fixed by its memorandum of association; (b) to consolidate and divide its capital or any part thereof' into shares of larger amount than its existing shares.
A resolution will be submitted for confirmation at the second extraordinary general meeting to bo convened subsequently.
