AUCKLAND, This Day. The manager of the Pukeiniro Cftal Company has advised the miners that at the request of Sir James Allen, who interceded on the subject of ooal supplies to the' public, the company has consented to allow workmen's inspectors to examine the old workings in dispute. The union secretary replies that the matter will be dealt with by the union on Thursday, and adds, that resumption of work would have been more expedited if tho manager said that in future check inspectors would not be interfered witin the execution of their duties. '
