CELEBRATING LABOUR DAY
Steps are being taken by the Wellington Trades 'Council to ensure the proper celebration of Labour Day in Wellington this year. It is the intention of the council to call a meeting of local unions to make arrangements for a. sports gathering on. Newtown Paa-k, and it has also been suggested that an effort" should be made to introduce into th/p proceedings a local industries demonstration or display.
