WATERSIDE WORKERS' BAND.

The Waterside Workers' Band will give another of the recitals in. the Grand. Opera House to-morrow night which have won for it.a premier position in the ranks of band combinations. Supporting the band are fqur leading members of the Royal Comic Opera Company. Miss | Gladys Moncrieff will singl "The Pipes of Pan" (Lionel Monckion), which is said 'to bo specially suited to her powerful soprano voice. Mr. Jack Ralston (baritone) will be heard in that particularly fine number, "Your Eyes Have Told'Me All." Mr. Oliver Peacock (tenor) is to sing that charming song "Nirvana" (Stephen Adams). Miss Betty Beattie will act as accompanist. Mr. A." M'Robie, the brilliant cornettist, will play "Because" (Guy D'Hardelot). Of the band items, the opening number will be ■the overture "L'Espoir d'Alsace," but the outstanding numbers will be Gounod's "Faust," and the brilliant contest march, "North Star." With such an artistic Musical treat in store, a crowded! house is anticipated, and patrons are advised to be in their seats early. The full programme appears in this issue.
