There have been minor disturbances in Berlin. It is considered that there is no further danger from the Spartacusian revolution owing to the Government's resolute attitude. Herr Noske (Minister for Defence) commands 40,000 j troops. The Weimar Government has decided to agree to the cjaim that the Workmen's and Soldiers' Councils should form part of the constitution, hoping thereby to appease the workers and prevent them joining the Spartacnsians. (Received March 8, 11 a.m.) NEW YORK, 6th March. The United Press correspondent at Berlin states that in spite of the efforts of the Spartacusians to revive the new revolution the Government of Germany appears to have the upper hand. The Government has barricaded parts of the city with barbed wire entanglements and lias made ready to oppose the Spartacusians, whose plans for a general strike throughout the country appear to have failed. According to reports which are not confirmed, a heavily-armed band is advancing on Weimar in order to loot the city.
