"OH, BOY!" TO-NIGHT.
The final performance of "Going Up" by members of the Williamson Musical Comedy Company was given at the Grand Opera House last night. To-night the company will stage, for the firet time in New Zealand, "Oh, Boy!" which is described as a glittering revue. Commenting on the production in Sydney recently, the Daily Telegraph says: — 'There is a tunefulness throughout that blossoms not infrequently into glorious melody in the chief song numbers. The actual producing of. 'Oh, Boy!' is one of its greatest claims to fame. The producers are entitled to much praise for an undeniably fine success. Again, in this direction, the work of the ballet mistress deserves high mention. The many dances and ballets are entirely novel. The eight girls responsible for the main dancing element provide some of the brightest spots in the show. "Oh, Boy !' is an intoxicating mixture of sparkling music, gay dances, comedy turns, brilliant stago scenes, and gorgeous frockings, and is well up to the high standard of AYilliamson musical productions in this respect." "Oh, Boy!" will b« played until Tuesday night, and on Wednesday it will be replaced by "The Three Twine."
