LEAVE FOR NURSES
Replying to Mr. Wilkinson (Egmont) in the House of Representatives to-day, the Minister for Defence (Sir James Allen) said that nurees would receive 28 days' leave on demobilisation in the same way as other ranks of the New Zealand Expeditionary Forces. Leave was given to the nurses in England now as much as possible. The staff had been strengthened • to allow of this.
