The death occurred from influenza at the Napier West Hospital on Friday of Mr. Frank William Mundy,' who was a member of the Main Body of the N.Z.E;F., and served' on Gallipoli. He returned to New Zealand some time ago, and for the past l|elve months has been working for Messrs. Anmor and Sons. Deceased is survived by a wife and child. Mr. K. M'Leay, manager of Richardsou and Co., Napier, ha-s received advico from th 9 admiral commanding a British squadron off the Irish coast to the effect that E. J. Gray, a former captain of the ill-fated Squall, had been awarded the Distinguished Service Cross.
