The death occurred from influenza at the Napier West Hospital on Friday of Mr. Frank William Mundy,' who was a member of the Main Body of the N.Z.E;F., and served' on Gallipoli. He returned to New Zealand some time ago, and for the past l|elve months has been working for Messrs. Anmor and Sons. Deceased is survived by a wife and child. Mr. K. M'Leay, manager of Richardsou and Co., Napier, ha-s received advico from th 9 admiral commanding a British squadron off the Irish coast to the effect that E. J. Gray, a former captain of the ill-fated Squall, had been awarded the Distinguished Service Cross. Captain Gray wont into camp in N«w Zealarrf with the Mounteds, and subsequently joiited the Navy whilst in England. At the Petooe Court this morning, beforo Mr. J. W.
