"SMALL DEER"
Near the end of Saturday nighfs setting of the House of Representatives, the Hon. W. D.S. Mac Donald gave a little fright to a number of members. The Minister of Agriculture had a Bill which he wished to introduce without previous notice. At the time a . message from the Governor was before the House, and Mr. Speaker explained that,this had to take precedence. These words increased the curiosity of members about Mr. Mac Donald's Bill, especially as the Minister looked as if he was about to precipitate a big surprise. Then it came—the Babbit Nuisance Act Amendment Bill, which was greefed with the relief of laughter and applause.
