OTHER VIOLENT SHOCKS
VANCOUVER, 6th December.
An earthquake which shook the city eariy to-day was sufficiently violent to shake people out of their beds along the west coast of Vancouver Island. The Estevan lighthouse was damaged. The seismographs record further sharp earthquakes from the direction of Mexico.
