BRITISH AND FOREIGN BIBLE SOCIETY
The Dominion Council of the British and Foreign Bilble Society met on Thursday, Mr. G. A. Troup presiding, and Meesre. R. L. Button, G. M'Cartney, T. Ballinger, W. J. Helyer, W. Hopkirk, E. J. Hercus, Professor Easterfield, and the; Revs. F. H. Spencer and \. T. Thompson were also present. A considerable amount of business was transacted, mostly in connection with the proposal to erect a Biblehouse as a thanksgiving offering for victory and a memorial to those who have laid down their lives for the good of mankind. A subcommittee was appointed to select a cite and to report at the meeting to be held on Thursday next. Th« headquarters will move down from Wanganui and open in Wellington on 20th January.
