EDUCATION DEFERRED
Among the domestic legislation to be deferred is education. * The Minister stated on Saturday that a large number of progressive proposak had been drafted for an Education Amendment Bill, but Cabinet had decided that such a Bill should not be taken this session. The provision of superannuation for technical teachers would require legislation. He had submitted to Cabinet proposals for increases in teachers' salaries. This question ' and ;t!ae matter of bo.nnsee would come before Cabinet when the supplementary Estimates were being settled.
