MEAT CONTRACTS
YEAR'S EXTENSION 'PROBABLE. Three times recently the Prime Minister has cabled to London regarding the proposals for a, year's extension (from the end of the war) of New Zealand's meat contracts with the Imperial Government. Mr. Massey said in the House to-day that he had not yet received a reply. Apparently it is' anticipated that the extension will be arranged.
