SHARP FIGHTING
SOLDIERS AND SOVIETS. (AUfl. AND N.Zj CABLE ASSN. AND RBDTIR.) AMSTERDAM, 4th December. There has been sharp fighting in several Westphalian towns between returning soldiers and the local Soviet's troops. Thousands of miners at Hamm struck and hoisted red flags on public buildings. There have been similar demonstrations at Wanne. Soldiers hauled down the flags and dispersed the demonstrators. -•
