Mi. W*dm»n presided over * meeting of the management committee of the Wellington Baseball Association this week. It was decided that a letter be sent to the New South Wales League advising tho league that the vice-president (Mr. Baron) would call on them to discuss the prospects of the game in New Zealand. Mr. D. Hogan was appointed.% member of the committee. :. The first match of the season is to be played at Kilbirnie Park on Saturday 1 next between Central and South. ! It hag been reported that the game is making good progress in Auckland and Thames.
