DEPAETUBES. December »—Baden Powell, s.s. (1 p.m.), 17* tons, Johnson, for New Plymouth MONOWAI REMAINS IN FhRRY RUN. So far a crew has not been obtained for the Pateena, which was to have sailed for Ljttelton to-night in place; of the Monowai, and the Union Company announced this morning that the latter vessel will remain in the ferry run for another trip. As soon as the Pateena obtains a sufficient crew the Monowai will be withdrawn. . THE ARAWA. The Arawa has now been berthed at Auckland, and work has been commenced. Owing to t)ie delay caused at the northern port, it is not likely that the vessel will leave Wellington for Home until the New Year. >She lias to load at Gisborne and Napier before coming on here to complete. ' ■• .'•>,' PERSONAL. There Is a decided improvement today In the condition of Captain F. A. Macindoe (Secretary of the Merchant Service Guild), -who suffered an influenza relapse a few days ago.
