TRENTHAM BAND
SUCCESSFUL CONCERT IN CHRISTCHURCH.

OHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The Theatre Royal was packed last night by an audience which showed the keenest appreciation of the splendid performance of the Trentham Band. The concert yielded £100 11s for the Trentham Scholarships Fund, which sum is a record for the band for a Sunday night concert. The band/which also played at the hospital and aviation grounds yesterday, and was everywhere received enthusiastically, left for the South at midday.
