Many have chosen to go to Germany, though they are not allowed to take boyjKover twelve or girls over sixteen. Publication of the fact that hundreds of women ai'e returning to Germany has shocked the public. The representatives of seventeeen women's societies waited as a deputation on Sir George Cave, urging an amendment in the naturalisation law, so that women would have the_ right to retain their British nationality on marriage with an alien.
