STOLEN EXEMPTION FORMS.

LONDON, 18th Atigust,. A sensational charge has been brought against Ida Carter, a clerk of the Stepney Tribunal, of forging signatures to exemption certificates. The defendant stated that young men asked for forms to keep them out of the army, and gave the girl clerks money to buy chocolates. Tho prosecution stated that out of eight thousand men challenged in the East End, five per cent, (i.e., 400) held, documents stolen from the Stepney Tribunal.
