ALIENS IN AMERICA
PROHIBITION AGAINST DE-
PASTURE.
WASHINGTON, 17th August.
President Wilsoh has issued a proclamation that aliens will not be allowed free departure from the United States after 15th September. The proclamation says it is believed that many aliens have been able to leave the United States as German agents, carrying information to Germany. It is hoped the measure will stop such activities. Aliens will be required to obtain permits under a rigid investigation.
