BOLSHEVIKS ADOPT GERMAN

NEW YORK, 16th August.
The New York Times Washington correspondent states that despatches received in official circles report that tho Allied troops advanced from Archangel 100 miles south to Padereshekaia on tho road to Vologda. The Bolsheviks are retreating and committing atrocities among the civil population, which openly favours the Allies.
