COLLEGE BEAT HUTT.
As a "cutftain-raiser" to the soldiers' game, a match was played between Wellington College and Hutt junior teams. The game was keenly contested, and ended in a win for College by 14 points to 9. Davidson and Toogood scored tries for the winners, -one of them being converted by Nicholls, who also kicked a penalty goal and a goal from a- mark. For Hutt tries were scored by Dennehy and Hazlewood, and Grrierson kicked a goal from a mark. Mr. A. C. Kitto refereed the game.
