The story concerns tho life of a widow whose son is being educated at the University. He eventually becomes successful, and goes to the city, where he becomes involved in "big business." The picture traces him through the temptations of city life and his career amoncist the fast fashionable set, success still crowning his efforts, while his mother remains on her humhle little farm. The unobtrusive and yet pervading contrast between the extremes in the living oS the son and his mother is shown with faultless fidelity, and eventually when he decide* to marry, his mother is slighted, but the end of the play leaves everyone happy. "Mother o' Mine" is distinctly a play that should not be missed.
