For selßng coal at a price in excess of that laid down by the Controller, Arthur F. Sarfam, Stopney-green, was fined £220 and 16 guineas costs on eight summonses, at Old-street, London. It was explained that Sarfam traded as Chandler and Son, and he admitted that ho had 2000 customers. The neighbourhood is a poor working-class one.
