STUPENDOUS SUBSCRIPTIONS,
LONDON, 15th August. Mr. Bonar Law states that the subscriptions to National War Bonds have reached the stupendous figure of £1,000.----000,000. No previous loan in any country had produced such an enormous sum in actual new money.
