A DISABLED SCOW
Misfortune has again attended the scow Hazel Repton, which put into Wellington yesterday with a broken centre-board. The Haael Repton, bound from Dunedin to' Melbourne with a load of timber, recently ran into Lyttelton to have a broken spar replaced. She resumed her voyage on Saturday, and, on Monday, when off Kaikonra during a heavy north-wesrterly gale, her centreboard broke, and half of it dropped off. The scow also lost her foresail. The necessary repairs are to. be carried out at Wellington, and the owners (Messrs. Brownlee, Ltd.) hope to be able to despatch the vessel in a few days. Captain Candlish is in command of the scow. .
