SITUATION GROWING STEADILY
WORSE,
(Received August 16, 9.50 a.m.)
STOCKHOLM, 15th August. Advices from Helsingfors state that the Russian situation is growing steadily worse. The' Bolshevik's reign is near its end. The peasant rising is increasing ; armed bands are being organised to fight the Bolsheviks, and the movement is spreading to the towns. The reports of the flight of Lenin and Trotsky are apparently true. Other reports state that a German march to Petrograd has begun.
