JULY'S RECORD IN RAIDING
NINETY-SIX VISITS TO GERMANY.
LONDON, 14th August. The Presst Bureau states: During July the Independent Raid Force madb one hundred raids, of which ninety-six were into Germany, and dropped eightyone tons of bombs on important military objectives, in spite of periods of bad weather. This constitutes a record, both in the number of raids and the weight of bombs."
