The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., reports that at the Waikanae sale on Wednesday there was submitted a large yarding of both sheep and cattle to a fair 'attendance. Bidding dragged, but a large portion of the entry was cleared at satisfactory prices. Medium hoggets, ISs to 13s Gd; spring calving, cows, £10; springing cows, £12 15s; springing heifers, £9 to £10; 18-months s.h. heifers, £7; late calvers, £7 10s; 18-months s.h. bull, £8; weaner steers, £4 10s to £4vl7s Od; v/eaner heifers, £3 4s; forward cows, £8 14s.
