Mrs. Joseph Lewis provided a 'programme that delighted the audience at the Sailors' Friend, Society last night. Mrs. Hempton and Miss Gawler were at the piano, and the following rendered songs, etc. : The Mesdames W." Cate, J. Lewis, and S. Hempton, and the Misses M. Gawler, C. Gillifant, P. Downer, and M. Dimock, and Messrs. T. E. Jones and W. Cate. Mr. Moore, missioner, spoke on "The Revenue," several men taking the pledges later. Merriment- was imported into the competitions by the effusions of the men..
