BIG- TOTAL FROM SALE OF STAMPS. (AUSTRAMAN-NBW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received July 25, 1 p.m.) ' WASHINGTON, 24th July. It is officially announced that the purchases of war savings stamps have averaged 150,000,000 dollars a month since the stamp-buying campaign oper.ed. More than 447,000,000 dollars' worth have been sold altogether (an average of roughly 18s per head of the population).
