SUPPLIES OF VEGETABLES.

Maize is not quite so plentiful, with prices firm.' Rye grass quiet, prices unaltered. Cocksfoot remains firm. Fowl wheat in fairly supply, and realising good prices. Pig meals of all descriptions scarce, and prices high. Pork is in very short supply, with prices firm. Eggs are still realising high rates, with supplies not plentiful. Honey has been rather scarce during the -we«k, -with prices firm. Cabbages i have been fairly plentiful during the week, 'with, good prices ruling. Cauliflowers are still' a bit short in supply, and where tha quality is prime, high values are being realised. Carrots ' are' still ■ fairly plentiful, with satisfactory figures ruling. Onions are very scarce ;■'and high prices are ruling. Turnips (white) have been in good supply during the week, and prices are low. Lettuce, where of good quality, are realising satisfactory Beetroot is fairly plentiful, with fair values ruling. Spring onions are in good supply. Parsnips have been fairly plentiful, with high rates ruling. Marrows are in good supply, realising satisfactory prices. Swedes ars also fairly plentiful. Pumpkins are not abundant, arid good figures are ruling. Leeks are still coming forward in quantities with prices firm. Artichokes are still' in good, supply.

Apples., dessert, are still coming forward in fair supply, and when in good condition. satisfactory rates are received. Apples, cooking, are also in good;supply at fan- values. Pears, oooldng, are also fairly plentiful, with prices firm!
