SPECIAL' COMMITTEE'S REPORT.
Considerable interest. attaches to the report of'the "special'committee set upby ? the City Council to endeavour to find some solution of the milli problem which has faced Wellington for so long. As 1 indicated previously, the committee has gonevery deeply into the question, anil the evidence it has taken is voluminous. Experts, and others not so ex- ' pert, have proffered advice. There is now definite news of the long-awaited report, insomuch as a special meeting of;the City Council has been called for Tuesday afternoon next, at 2.15 o'clock, toireceive and consider the-same.:: . •
