A UNION TO PROMOTE COMRADESHIP. (Received July 19, 9 a.m.) LONDON, 18th July. An English-speaking Union was re- ' cently formed to promote comradeship between the people of the British Empire and the United States, in the belief that peace and progress would be advanced by the union of the English-speaking democracies. The executive includes Lord Bryee, Mr. Winston Churchill, the Archbishop- of York, and many notables. Mr. W. F. Massey (Prime Minister of New Zealand) was elected a vice-president. It is proposed to establish, headquarters in London, New York, and each of the capitals of the overseas Dominions. -
