A communication has' been received by the Education Board from the Minister of Education, stating that tho Department could not agree to the withdrawal or amendment of the regulations relating to staffing of schools issued under the Statute Law Amendment Act. Tho board had asked the Department to keep to the old method of staffing schools, but that the Department did not agree to. The final leave of the 43rd Infantry Reinforcements has been cancelled until further notice.
