The managers of the Wellington Methodist Central Mission have come to an important decision,- viz.> to recommend the trustees to negotiate for the purchase of a central block of buildings at a. cost of £17,800 with a view to the erection, of a Methodist Soldiers' Memorial Sail. The sanction Of the conference having been obtained last year, this scheme will at once be organised, and an appeal made to the Methodists of tlie Dominion to erect a fitting inemofial to our hero comrades in an institutional mission wherein spiritual and social work can be successfully carried on, and 'the returning boys find healthy Recreation.
