PARIS, 15th July. The outstanding feature of the national fete was the naming, by President Poincare and the ambassadors, of a number of leading thoroughfares after the heads of the Allies.. The name of George the Fifth-avenue was given to the majestic street from Alma Bridge to the Champs Elysees.
