IMPORTANT RESOLUTIONS
DEMANDS ON NATIONAL
QUESTIONS. (PDBUSBED IN THB TIMES.) (Received July ,15, 8.30 a.m.) LONDON, 13th July. The Miners' Federation has resolved to demand a six-hour day after the war and six days' pay for a five "days' week. The Federation requires,l the increase of old-age pension to 15s a week, and the reduction of the age limit to sixty ; the elimination of the;' military spirit from physical, drill in. elementary schools; and that. soldiers, as»d sailors must be paid 6s a day. The Federation approved a proposal for replacing separate district, conciliation boards by a National Board for re-, gulating wages for all districts. This, change is regarded as the most fateful lin the history of the Federation. It is ! pointed out that the policy of the recent Federation has consistently followed national lines.
