GERMANS IN NEUTRAL COUNTRIES EVERY ONE A SPY. (Received February 27, 11 a.m.) . _ BERNE, 25th February. Adolf Frie.dmann, a German resident jn Zurich, openly declares that every German in neutral countries, including Switzerland, is required by the German Government to work as a spy or propagandist. Friedmann adds : "All the Germans in Switzerland fulfilled the obligation very loyally and patriotically." The Swiss newspapers indignantly rejoin that Friedmann's candid statement shows how formidable is the scope of the espionage and propagandist organisation, inasmuch as there are, approximately, forty thousand Germans at large in Switzerland. Eighty million kronen worth of foodstuffs, withheld from rationing, was found concealed in various warehouses. '■'
