MAGISTRATE'S COURT
To-day's sitting of the Magistrate's Court was presided over by Mr. S. E. M'Carthy, S.M.
One first-offending inebriate was fined 10s, in default 24 hours' imprisonment, and another had his bail, 20s, estreated.
William Gordon, who was found drunk during the. currency of a prohibition order, was fined 40s, the alternative being fixed at seven days' imprisonment.
