UKRAINIANS IN CANADA
AN IMPOSING DECLARATION
OTTAWA, 18th February. A meeting of two thousand Ukrainians, representing one-quarter o£ a million of population of that race in Canada, have denounced the separate peace with Germany, and resolved to carry on the war. The meeting issued a statement to the Dominion Government, offering to mobilise Ukrainian labour to carry on. war duties, .provided that the' Government will remove the stigmathat they are alien enemies. . '
Sir Robert ißorden has given a' favourable reply, declaring that the offer is entitled to consideration.
