MASTERTON SHOW
THE OPENING DAY.
i(R¥ TELEGRAPH. —SPECIAL TO THE POST.)
BIASTEBTON, This Day.
The Masterton A. and P. Association ghow opened at Sol way .to-.day in very dull weather and occasional rain. The entries this year show a falling off of about 160; the most striking feature being the absence of sheep-breeders who have shown for years past. The general quality of the stock, particularly cattle, ,was well up to the average. The whole display, in fact, maintains a standard which has: been set by Solway in past years.. Judging was carried out expeditiously, and following are some of the championships.:— ..■"''■•■■ r-
