HIGH SCHOOL ACCOMMODATION

A special meeting of the Board of Governors of Wellington College and Girls' High School was held this morning t6 consider the question of additional accommodation at the Girls' College, and the position which has arisen ;owing to a number of girls having to be refused admission. There were present : The Hon. J. G. W. Aitken (chairman), the Mayor (Mr. J. P. Luke), Professor Easter-field, and Messrs. A. Warburton and W. H. P. Barber. The proceedings were conducted in committee, but it is understood that no definite course of action was decided upon. In this evening's Post the governors advertise their desire to obtain. a house at once near the college,, with large rooms suitable for classes.

The Wellington College (boys) is also, reported to be greatly congested.
