MAGISTRATES COURT

To-day's sitting of the Magistrate's Court was presided over by Mr. S. E. M'Carthy, S..M.

Three first-offending inebriates were dealt with. Two were fined 10s, in default 24 hours' imprisonment, and the third had his bail, 20s, estreated.

John H. Page, who was £9 in arrears in respect to a maintenance order in favour of his wife, was > ordered to find security for the payment of instalments, as ordered. The security was fixed at £250 himself and two sureties of £125 each. Three weeks were allowed defendant in which to find security.
