The Now Zealandere were victorious by fourteen points to three, this being the ■ third victory they have scored over their famous opponents since coming to the Western front. The game was a brilliant exposition of Bugby, fast, and spectacular. The New Zealand backs excelled in passing rushes. Each team included a number of famous players. The Rev. J. R. Thompson, Assistant General Secretary of the New Zealand section, Theosophical Society, will deliver his final public lecture here to-morrow evening, in the Theosophical Hall. Messrs.' F. Cooper, Ltd., are exhibiting in their Mercer-street shop an outdoor Fibgrap cucumber, grown from their seed, near Nelson, by Mr. R. Burgess. The cucumber is 26 inches long, 12 inches m circumference, and weighs 71b loz.
