QUEEN'S THEATRE.
Merriment is the keynote of the new programme shown at the Queen's Theatre to-day to large and delighted audiences. "The Clock," the star feature, tells a story that appeals, and much good taste is shown, in everything pertaining to its production. Tho' love affair, between Jack Tempest (Franklyn Famum) and Vivian Graham (A.gnes Vernon) forms the theme, and the unhappy failing of Jack to be on time anywhere is the cause'of his troubles. . "Mr. Doolan of New York" is a romantic comedy in which a. quick-witted pugilist is; made to masquerade as a Prince. "The Lie Sublime," a dramatic story with many thrilling c-cenes; "Take Back Your Wife." an uproarious farce, and the 15th chapter of "The Purple Domino" call ,for special mention. .
