Mr.W.v.G. Eiddell, S.M., presided at the Magistrate's Court to-day.
William Francis King was fined 10s, in'■ default. 24 hours' imprisonment, for ■ drunkenness. Joseph Henry Pike appeared to answer ! a charge of failing to account for £7 to the manager-of the Royal Exchange As- ' surance Company. On the application of : Chief-Detective Boddam, a remand till , 23rd January was granted. Bail was i allowed in the sumof £5, and one surety '©£ £5._ William. Aifcken was also remanded to ; appear on Wednesday next on a charge ' of forging an official document by fraudulently signing a soldier's pay-book. ; John Carrig, charged with an indecent ; assault, was also remanded to this day ■ week. Bail was renewed.
