OTTAWA, 15th January.
Stefaaisson, the explorer, discovered several large Arctic islands north-west of Banksland, and took possession of them in the name of Canada.
Stefansson intends to remain for another year in the Arctic, to explore th« new lands from a base on Wrangell Inland.
